  1. Talk to your sales rep to try and get a good idea of when you will start. Signing your contract does not really have an impact on your start time. The main district office controls when each lot is started...it will also have to do with how many others and what models are starting around the same time. The Waverly is a pretty good size home and will take a little longer then others to get thru the framing stage which could hold others up, so they may start them first.

  2. Our pre-construction meeting happened 85 days after we signed our contract.

  3. I agree with BD. Best to talk to your Rep and see if they can give you an explanation and time line.

    SCJ: That's just crazy!

  4. Which lot did you sign the contract for? I would really appreciate if you could share your experience before signing the contract and finalizing the options. Since we will be dealing with same people, you input is highly valuable.

Other Bloggers may/maynot be interested in this, I am more than happy to take this in a separate conversation. May be through email or phone. Please let me know.

  5. Hi Enna! Congrats on your new home! I agree with BD. The sales rep and the PM really aren't the ones who decide when building will commence. Perhaps they are waiting on others lots so that they can start building simultaneously? At any rate, I'm sure you will have your pre-construction meeting soon. Call your sales rep and ask what's the hold up... Happy Building!
